Biology 101  proved to be a bit of a struggle for me but with hard work and dedication, I was able to succeed in this course. The heavy curriculum of this course required me to pick up good study tools early on to ensure that I did well on exams and other major assignments. My study techniques and other skills transcribed into other courses helping me become a more successful student. One of the common themes that was discussed in this course was how that much of scientific research is pieced together by multiple researchers and not just by any single person. We saw this through a lab in particular that we completed where we had to decide the ages of different skulls. We had to use scientific reasoning as well as use information/data collected from other groups to decide the ages of each skull. Overall, this course helped me learn how to use scientific reasoning to solve questions, as well as learn helpful study habits to help me be successful.
