I have been an athlete throughout my entire life, so a physical activity class in college was exciting to me! My favorite part of the class was learning low impact activities that will allow me to continue to be physically fit throughout my life.
A component of the class required us to track our steps to ensure we were getting 10,00 steps a day. This activity made me more self aware of my exercise and allowed me to realize how much activity I did during the day, even on days I did not go to the gym. Through this bi-weekly assignment, I learned the importance of walking when possible in a day as a way of exercising.
