Choose a concentration or minor in Professional Writing at Longwood and gain a competitive edge that pairs well with all majors! Our students

1. study the rhetorical foundations of written communication as applied to a variety of texts ranging from speeches to digital media;
2. learn how to create professional texts for a range of audiences and stakeholders.

The “Minor in Professional Writing” can be declared by all Longwood students. The “Concentration” is available for Longwood’s English majors.
