BIOL 250

I took this course during my second semester at Longwood. The beginning of this course went well however, COVID-19 hit the United States causing all students to go online. It was more difficult to learn online, especially when it was so abrupt but I think I adapted well and I was able to still get everything done that I needed to. After going online we were required to still log into class and attend class through zoom which I thought was helpful in keeping the routine of going to class. Thankfully, before being sent home, we had finished all the physical experiments that were required to analyze the data, so it was easy to move online further after that. I also enjoyed this course because it went more in-depth into the biology of genetics which I found interesting. In this class, we also got the opportunity to put together a research poster on the project that we performed throughout the semester which I included on this page. I enjoyed creating the poster because I was able to look at my project as a whole and look at it as an overview of everything that happened, rather than reading the research report that goes more into extensive detail. I have also included my research paper associated with my poster.
