SPAN 211

I took Spanish 211 my second semester at Longwood. I did not have to take Spanish 111 because of the placement test, therefore, I only had to take one semester of Spanish. This was one of those classes that I did not enjoy as much because I enjoy the sciences a lot more. I took 4 years of Spanish throughout middle and high school so I had some background knowledge going into the course, however, I had not remembered some of it. I was happy to take this course because I think it is a goof quality to have to know the basics of another language. This was another course I was taking when COVID-19 sent all the students at Longwood home and perform classes online. This class was well adapted to online because my professor had previous experience of teaching online, so she had everything prepared. Something I really enjoyed while taking this course was the projects. There were three main parts of the project to interpret, communicate, and present what we had learned. My favorite one to do was watching a movie in Spanish which allowed me to both challenge me to understand the film and understand the movie as it progresses. I included the questions that were asked after the movie for us to answer in Spanish.
