Formal Report

The formal report was by far one of the hardest assignments I have had during my college career, specifically because it has so many moving parts that are dependent on one another. If the introduction is not complete, then the rest of the newsletter can’t be completed and if the data has not been collected, proper analysis can not take place. While I did appreciate working on the assignment with my partner, we did a lot of the work on our own. We chose to divide and conquer the work rather than take longer, more copious amounts of time to work through it together. The design principles were easiest to follow because once we created a cohesive look and design, we were able to follow through with it pretty easily. The hardest part of completing the formal report was our inexperience with the actual research we were completing. For instance, neither my partner or I were familiar with University websites, so we spent a lot of time trying to research and study how University websites function and how we can analyze them. Overall, I learned a lot from completing the formal report, and I am proud of the end result and the presentation we completed which synthesized our data and research.
