Correspondence

The two pieces of correspondence, the bad news letter and the persuasive letter, were two of the most useful assignments we were tasked with creating. The bad news letter challenged me personally because I am the type of individual that chooses to confront issues head-on and in-person, not over the internet or via text. The persuasive letter on the other hand is a bit more of my forte, as I have had to write professional, persuasive letters before. Both pieces of correspondence required me as a writer to understand my audience, and to curtail and write to that audience, which was both new and exciting. Both of these documents also required no more than a page of text so trying to create a concise letter that both answered questions and persuaded the reader was not easy.
