Before taking this course, I had never before worked with statistical data. I expected I may be slightly overwhelmed with this course because math has never been my favorite area of study. I’m happy to report, though, that Dr. Boyle’s teaching style and help made the course much more manageable than I expected.
Another thing that I felt really helped me grasp how to apply the skills we were learning to real-life situations was this writing project.This project included problems that challenged our knowledge of just about all of the information we learned in a way that was easy to comprehend. This project helped me to understand that writing is a helpful tool for learning across all disciplines, even math.
