Phi Epsilon Kappa: Member since October 2020, Philanthropy Chair for Spring 2021-Fall 2021. Through this organization, I have been able to make new connections with those in the HARK department. As Philanthropy Chair, I led tabling events that raised awareness for Madeline’s House and collected donations. Being able to collect those donations and meet with the organization was truly an eye-opening experience, and I look forward to serving in this position in the upcoming semester.
White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue: Throughout the school year, I was able to volunteer at a horse rescue, working close with animals who have found a new, more loving home. Although some of the chores weren’t the most fun, it was a great opportunity to help out the community, trying something new, and strengthening friendships throughout the process.
