Hello! I have completed my third year of college at Longwood University in the Cormier Honors College. I am pursuing my dream of being an elementary school teacher by majoring in Elementary Education & Teaching. I will be licensed as a Pre-K-6 teacher in the state of Virginia.

I have always wanted to be a teacher. As a little girl I can recall playing “teacher” with my dolls lined up in front of my make-believe classroom. As I pursue this career at Longwood, as well as participate on SGA, Class Council, and the Honor and Conduct Board, I hope to make a positive impact on as many people as possible. I have served as a Head Resident Assistant, Office Assistant, and the Plenary Chair of the Honor and Conduct Board. It is in these positions where I find myself feeling the most productive and influential to my peers on campus, while I develop crucial leadership skills that will benefit my students and colleagues.
