The Civitae Core Curriculum is Longwood’s unique general education requirements; as a liberal arts university, these requirements help students become well rounded citizen leaders. This is a multi-tiered plan builds upon itself with first-year foundation requirements, pillar courses, perspective courses, and finally culminates in a symposium.
