This was an excellent class. I have to admit… going into it, I thought it would be more sociology focused because of the title, but I was surprised to find that it was more focused on environmental science. I got to learn about the different types of coastal environments, their characteristics, benefits, and the threats to their health. I also learned about some current events in this class that I never would have researched if not for this class.
