Professional Activity Fall Semester 2015: Walk to End Alzheimer’s
October 1, 2015
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the largest event in the world that raises money for Alzheimer’s. This event raises awareness for Alzheimer’s in every community that participates in it. The money that is raised goes toward care, research, and support. I participated in raising money for the walk and then participating in the walk.
I participated in this walk because I believe it is a great cause and it gives an important message that should be shared around the world. This walk emphasized how important it is to work together as a community. As a nurse, I will come into contact with Alzheimer’s a lot, and it felt good to participate in a cause that can help people who have Alzheimer’s.
