As an Honors mentor, i mentored incoming freshman in the Honors College.  I provided them with leadership, academic, and citizenship skills to help them with their transition to college.  Every year this Honors College goes on a retreat at the beginning of the year to help new freshman become acclimated to honors and college.  As a mentor I had the opportunity to help with the retreat.
