While I had not taken Spanish since my sophomore year of high school, I had no issues picking it back up during my second semester freshman year at Longwood. I enjoyed once again immersing myself in the culture of Spanish speaking countries and improving on my skills. I was able to better my speaking skills, a benefit of the class which I was able to put to use during my trip to Spain the following summer. I enjoyed the class and wish I could have pursued a Spanish minor if I had the room in my schedule. The artifact I have included for this course is one of the presentations I made along with my partner which helped get me more comfortable with speaking the language.
