Human Behavior and Social Institutions-Education 245

Education 245 has been an illuminating class in regards to child development. Much of the information was review from my AP Psychology class I took in high school, but it was a great refresher and allowed me to learn about child development with a more critical eye. I got to participate in interactive lectures, group activities, and interview children in this hands-on class. I truly believe that Education 245 will make me a more quality educator in terms of accurately assessing each child’s needs in my classroom. The artifact that I chose to include was my presentation based off of the ten page paper I wrote about my interviews with children in terms of child development in the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical realms.
