Senior Year
I learned the most academically this year than I have my previous years at Longwood. I was able to complete more research-based enhancement projects, and gained irreplaceable field experience in both middle and elementary schools. I shifted my focus towards professional development this year, and submitted my resume for review and began work on my professional portfolio which I attatched below.

Junior Year
This year truly allowed me to grow as a scholar, and especially a leader. I worked more on enhancements and research projects, and took on the position of Vice President of Programming for the College Panhellinic Council. Holding a leadership position in the midst of the pandemic was difficult, but I gained an immense amount of skills that I can apply in my future endeavors.
Sophomore Year
This year has been even more incredible than my last at Longwood. I once again had the opportunity to experience many of Longwood’s beloved traditions including my first Oktoberfest during my birthday weekend. I have gotten more involved on campus and taken on a leadership role in my sorority as Vice President of Philanthropic Service. I was able to go to New Orleans with fellow honors scholars to present research, which was the opportunity of a lifetime. I tried new foods, went on a historic ghost tour, and met honors students and faculty from the US, Germany, and even the Netherlands. I also went to Raleigh, North Carolina for a leadership conference with my sorority. My goal throughout college has been to take every opportunity that I am offered, and I feel that I have done that this year in particular. Despite my semester being cut short by COVID-19, I am grateful to have been able to fully immerse myself in Longwood’s culture during the time I had.
Freshman Year
I had the opportunity to experience so many of Longwood’s beloved traditions for the first time this year. I saw the tree lighting in Ruffner, went to Late Night Breakfast, did Color Wars, participated in Relay For Life, and much more. My favorite event as a part of the Longwood community by far was my very first time playing Oozeball with Sigma Kappa. I have compiled pictures of my favorite memories getting involved on campus this year above.
