Longwood Seminar

Goal 1

Longwood Seminar was the class that helped me adapt to the college life. From tips for studying to ways of being healthy, this one credit honors class allowed for me to learn the ins and outs of the college experience. Jessi Znosko was my professor and Emily Lettau was my peer mentor. They made the class a whole lot better because they are reliable people and wanted to make my experience easier. I gained a great professor who I will be taking again and I gained a great friend who I could go to if I needed help. Also, my other classmates made me feel comfortable because we were all in the same boat and I made friends that will last a lifetime. As for the classwork, I did not enjoy the weekly journals that we had to turn in, but they helped me with time management and actually speaking my opinion. I did not enjoy the book we had to read because I hate everything to do with politics even though the vice presidential debate was held here. All of the other work was not too bad because I got to interact with classmates and learn other skills that could help me in my college career.

I created my Four Year Plan on November 11th, 2016. I enjoyed making my Four Year Plan because I got to see all the classes I want to take and plan it out each year. It made me excited because a lot of my classes sound really interesting and I want to get to them as soon as possible. The plan also helps in the future when I register for classes and I can research which professors to take. Also, deciding when and which honors classes to take is a big help when planning for different semesters. It might not work accordingly, but most of my plan will stay the same.
