Open in new tab Attached above is a worksheet that I completed in this class. This was one of the many worksheets and short assignments that were given to us throughout the semester. In this particular worksheet, we were working on the meanings of prefixes and suffixes. Learning these meanings was a big part of my success throughout this class because a majority of all of the other terms we learned had these prefixes or suffixes in them. Learning this information allowed me to create an educated guess on what a hard word meant by just knowing definitions of these prefixes and suffixes.
I enjoyed this class and found it to be very interesting thanks to my professor. Although it was asynchronous, she provided us with a large amount of worksheets, projects, and games that helped us to learn the information needed in a fun way. She also gave us specific due dates to when all of our work was due and sent out reminders and weekly emails. This allowed me to easily stay on task and manage my time.
