Waterfall

My concept for this piece was to create a sight specific sculpture that would represent the environment of “The Falls”. “The Falls” is a local area of the Nottoway River I went to regularly as a child to go swimming and hiking.  In recent months the area of Southside Virginia has seen low water levels and therefore the river has been too low to fish at or swim in. I chose to create this piece to bring attention to the low water levels in the area.
