Letter

Dear Senior Hannah,

Can you believe it? Freshman year is already over with the blink of an eye….and what a year it has been. Who knew you had so much spunk and life in you. This past year has been filled with positivity, excitement, and growth. In four years I want you to have that same love and passion for life. Do not loose the love for learning you have. Once you stop learning you stop living.

As you graduate and go into post graduate life stay focused and driven . Picture the end goal and do not let the distractions get in the way of success. I know times will be hard, and when you are struggling,  ask for help. Do not be scared or embarrassed to ask others for help! It does not make you weak, rather shows strength for realizing you cant always do everything on your own. Stay focused on the end goal. When life distracts you push those small set backs out of the way and stay on track. You can do it! Be strong.

In four years I hope you stay friends with those who support you. Keep the good ones in your life and don’t loose them. Even after graduation, a friend halfway across the country is only a call away. Check in with those people who supported you and keep in contact with them. Who knows……maybe they will be at your wedding one day.

Last but not least, in four years I want you to remember all the amazing memories you have made at Longwood. These memories are once in a lifetime. Take advantage of every opportunity offered to you and run with it. In four years look back and smile at everything you have done, and know you made the most of your college experience.

I am rooting for you Hannah, make me Proud like I know you can.

-Hannah Prem
