Reflection: LSEM, or Longwood’s version of Freshman Seminar, was very helpful to me during my transition from high school to college. LSEM taught me about Longwood’s campus, values, and traditions. My first college assignment was for this class as well, which helped me get used to how college assignments were graded. Thanks to LSEM, I was extremely successful in my first semester as a college student. Without it, I probably would have struggled much more with my freshman year.
