History 100-50

I didn’t take much away from Western Civilization.  I am not a fan of history and it was my least favorite class that I took during my freshman year.  However, I know that many of my classmates did enjoy this particular class, as it was probably very interesting to people who enjoy learning about history.  The main highlight that I got from this class was the understanding that history can be looked at from many perspectives.  Dr. Isaac taught us that there is no real “right” answer when dealing with history.  He would often play “Devil’s Advocate” in class just to show different points of view.  I think that this knowledge is very important and I may use it if I ever take a history class in the future.
