This class was probably my favorite Honors course that I’ve taken so far at Longwood University. The Unity of Life is one of the beginning classes that are required for a major in Biology. I really enjoyed this class because it gave me insight into what classes I would have to look forward to as I advance in my major. A helpful tool that I took away from this class was the ability to put together a decent PowerPoint presentation. Dr. Franssen was very adamant about knowing what makes up a good presentation. The PowerPoint presentations that I have made since taking that class have improved drastically. The Unity of Life both excited me about the future of my major and educated me on how to put together a presentation.
