Reflection
The nursing Lsem class was essentially an introduction to both Longwood and Longwood Nursing. During the course we discussed what it meant to be a nurse and also discussed the requirements of the program. My paper on Respect, Integrity, and Inclusion and what they mean to me in relation to nursing is a great representation of the discussions we had in the class. I feel as though writing the paper allowed me to challenge myself to think about not only the need for respect, integrity, and inclusion in the profession but also their meaning and what they mean to me as a whole. Looking back at the assignment now I can see how I can apply my interpretation of the words to my every day life as well and set a goal to apply it during my future clinical experiences.
