In my Mathematical Modeling of Finance course I finally felt I was in a math course that would be important to my day to day life. Everyone uses math in some way in their job, but this class had a focus on finances that was eye opening for me. The course was lecture based, but we were able to have discussions and ask questions pertaining to our own financial situations. This course prepared me for my future to make informed decisions based off of mathematical evidence.

This artifact I have included was my second of two “papers” we had to complete for the course. Out of every test, homework assignment, or classwork assignment we had, I struggled the most on this project. I am proud of the result because I worked hard and I met with my professor for several one on one meetings.
