Spanish 211 quickly became one of my favorite courses. I was nervous going into the course because I had not studied Spanish since my sophomore year of high school, but upon entering the course I was prepared and taught at a high, yet accessible level. As a class we were able to collaborate and discuss with one another in a setting that was calm and inviting. This course broadened my understanding of different cultures, and the different language conventions. I was given projects and assignments that allowed me to grow as a Spanish speaker and writer.
This project I have attached was one of my final projects for the course. We were challenged to create a poster to raise awareness for an environmental issue of our choosing.
