In high school I learned at a high level, and I did well. I took harder classes to get better teachers, and I was pushed. I achieved my academic goals under difficult circumstances, and with those circumstances behind me I knew I wanted to focus and grow even more in my academics.

This growth has been achieved at Longwood. I believe the professors at Longwood are the best around, and their leadership has allowed me to excel the way I have. Many of my academic and personal goals have been reached because I have been pushed to learn and achieve at a higher level.

Being apart of the Honors College has been an incredible honor; no pun intended. There is no greater feeling than being in a community of like minded individuals who also want to succeed academically. Honors has held me to a standard that I have worked hard to uphold in my studies.
