Letter to Senior Self

Dear senior Megan,

If you’re reading this, hopefully that means you are graduating. Congratulations!!! You did it! I hope you have taken every opportunity that the honors college and Longwood has given you, it will definitely look better for grad school ;). I hope you have been involved in HSA all four years (well I’ll give you some slack on junior year– people say that’s hard). I hope you’ve studied hard, but also had fun. If you don’t have any crazy memories by now go make some. Don’t forget that after this, it all gets real. Jobs, bills, etc. I hope you have stayed a Biology major and still want to go to medical school. Remember that even though it is hard now, it will all be worth it in the end. I hope you took the opportunity to do Senior Honors Research because it seems so cool to little freshman me! I hope you’ve resisted getting a dog these past four years, but if you did, that’s okay since I love them. I’m so excited to see where you’ll be three years from now! Just remember that whatever happens, I’m proud of you for making it this far.

Have some fun, please!! Good luck with the future!

Love,

Freshman Megan
