Dear Hope,

You are doing great so far, you have one exam left of your freshman year and then you will be off to the big part of the nursing program! You have grown so much this year and made so many friendships. You have been through a lot this year from roommate problems to having breakdowns about taking 19 credits but you made it! You are going to be an honors mentor this summer and I know you are going to do great and make these new honors freshman feel welcomed.

I hope you are still close with Kenzie and Angelika, they helped you through really tough times during your freshman year. I hope you have stayed motivated throughout your college experience. I know you were really nervous about nursing 210 but I knew you could do it.

Freshman year went by so fast and I hope you had time to make new friendships and treasure your time at Longwood. I hope after you graduate you are able to get a job doing what you want to do which at the moment is being a NICU nurse. Always have hope and faith that everything will work out, I know you will be a great nurse no matter what.
