Honors coursework is just like every honors scholar says it is – “not more work, but different work.” Through the honors courses, I’ve learned some of the most interesting material where I can apply that knowledge and skills to future courses and beyond.

The Cormier Honors College has pushed me to do well academically and maintain high standards for myself. This has led to more opportunities coming my way, so in just my freshman year of college, I was able to join the National First-Year Honor Society (Alpha Lambda Delta) as well as the National Biology Honor Society (Beta Beta Beta).

Honors has opened so many doors for me and I am so glad I have gotten involved in a community that represents and encourages academic success.
