**BIOL 488 White Paper**

One of my favorite projects I had the opportunity of working on was a group presentation I completed with a few other honors students in my immunology class (BIOL 404). During the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to create a presentation explaining the different types of COVID-19 vaccines that had recently been developed. We also wanted to discuss the comparison between this pandemic and that of the 1918 Spanish flu, being sure to mention public perception and public health safety measures (BIOL 404 Honors Project). It was really fascinating to work with honors biology students who all have different interests and work together to create a project that has hopefully helped inform the public during an era of the spread of misinformation regarding the pandemic and vaccinations available.
