I took this class during the fall semester of my junior year. The class was titled, Historical Inquiry I. We mainly learned about Greek gods and goddesses, although there was a little bit of religion and Roman history thrown in there too.
History is not my favorite subject, so I had a hard time enjoying this course. I didn’t understand why I had to learn about it because it isn’t relevant to myself, my country, or my future career. While I still don’t understand the point in this class, I learned that sometimes we have to do things (or take classes) that we don’t want to, and that’s just a part of life. I’m sure in some way, this class has helped better me as a human. Who knows, maybe someday the knowledge that I learned in this class will benefit me in some way.
Below, I have included my final paper for this class. I do not believe it is well written and I know for certain it isn’t my best work. I tried my best though, and for not enjoying history, I don’t think my work is too bad.
