Tales of the Frontier, ENGL 215

In this honors english course, I learned a lot about how colonists viewed the cultures in which they claimed. Not every colonist thought the same way, which was contrary to what I had been taught in classes about Virginia and Native American history. There were colonists who were able to live side by side Native Americans, without feeling the need to overpower them. They were able to live on the new frontier they had encountered.

By the end of the semester, I wrote a 10 page paper on a new frontier relating to my major: using virtual reality headsets to help war veterans cope with PTSD
