Letter to My Senior Self

Dear Senior Victoria,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and well-being. As you remember, freshman year was full of many learning opportunities that will last you a life time, inside and outside of class. You learned to speak your mind more often and became more comfortable with who you are. I hope that throughout the years, these qualities have strengthened, and that you have become all that freshman year you had aspired to be.

Remember that it’s okay to have hard times and it’s okay to be down sometimes. But don’t let it hold you back from achieving your goals and doing what you love. I hope that you will look back on college as a time of growth as a leader, as a member of a great community, and as an individual. Although if you decide to laugh at freshman me I will completely understand.

You’re about to embark on your next journey, and I know that having accomplished what you did at Longwood, you will be ready for anything the world has to give you. I can’t wait to see it.

But until then, I will excitedly wonder.

Sincerely,

Freshman Victoria
