Reflection:
The press release assignment was a collaborative project. Each group was posed with the task of creating a new product or service. My group decided to release a state of the art dog translator. Completing the press release assignment satisfies course outcome two, four, and six. The course outcomes include using plain English, using specific design aspects, and working productively in groups. While working to complete this assignment, I found it difficult to abide by the eight C’s. Writing a clear and concise press release, while also keeping it appealing and interesting to the public presented a great deal of difficulty. To overcome this challenge, we consulted the textbook chapter, as well as other press release examples.
