Brochure

Reflection:

This brochure assignment was a collaborative project. Our group designed an esthetically appealing and professional brochure that could be distributed to potential customers. By completing this assignment, course objectives two, four, and six were met. The course outcomes include using plain English, using specific design aspects, and working productively in groups. One important aspect of a productive, visually appealing brochure is the use of white space. While working on this assignment, it became increasingly difficult to limit the amount of information placed into the brochure. Also, placing the correct information on each panel of the brochure presented a great deal of difficulty. To overcome these problems, we consulted the course textbook, as well as Dr. Guler for advise on changes and improvements. However, by following the AIDA method we were able to complete the brochure with little to no difficulty.
