Chemistry 213 was the lab associated with Organic Chemistry 1. I enjoyed this course because I was able to do hands on experiments for half of the semester. The other half we went online because of COVID-19 and we had do watch someone else perform the experiments which wasn’t bad, but I would have rather done the experiments in person because I enjoy hands on work. I loved being able to apply what we had learned in lecture to real life experiments and watch the reactions happen. We also kept a lab notebook to record background information about the lab as well as procedures and observations we saw throughout the lab. I have included a photo of my first lab notebook entry.
