Throughout my time in Longwood University’s nursing program, I completed many assignments involving the use of SimChart, and electronic charting system, similar to the ones uses in the medical field. Using this practice charting system has helped to to gain valuable skills related to charting patient information. As a direct result of using SimChart, I have become more proficient in the technological aspects of nursing as well as improved my ability to technologically care for my patients, their families, and my community.
