I believe the information learned in this professional writing course will benefit me as I prepare for graduate school and the application process that comes with it. Applying to graduate school cannot be done without taking the GRE so my knowledge of the Eight C’s will help me score highly on the essay portion of this test. My practice writing formal reports and conducting research through surveys will also help me with future research projects and studies, as this is normally one of the requirements in graduate school. After taking this course, I feel much more confident in my writing abilities. Through the copyediting portion of this class, I can now efficiently edit my written work in a clear and concise manner. Overall, this course will benefit me as I finish my undergraduate degree, pursue a graduate degree, and enter the workforce as a speech-language pathologist.
