My honors micro economics class allowed me to use what I learned in the classroom and apply it to real life applications. We were able to use the concept of supply and demand and compare the application of the terms to the oil industry. This was exciting to understand how these terms are more than words written on paper, they are real concepts that are followed in the world. This course helped me understand more than the superficial information. It showed me there is always more to the full picture than initially presented. Truly understanding the motives of the oil industry and every factor used when deciding their business strategy allowed me to think more as a business owner rather than student. Pushing your mind to expand and think in different ways is both exciting for me and my professor.
