I loved creating this brochure with my partner, Bridget. Not only were we allowed to let our creative juices flow with images and colors and text, but we were creating a whole new brand from scratch. The most difficult part of crafting the brochure was consistency, in both design and text. Making sure that everything was formatted correctly (meaning the same across the design) was tough, as the margins had to be aligned correctly and the texts needed to be the same font and color throughout. When designing the brochure, we had to remember the four design principles: contrast, repetition, alignment, proximity. Each of these design principles must be met in order for the flawless design of the brochure to come through.
