The Brochure assignment gave me the chance to work on my collaboration skills while working on this team project. My teammates and I had to follow the format that was provided to us in our textbook and create a professional but creative brochure. We were also graded on the formatting if the front panel gets attention and gives a strong sense of what the brochure is about, the interest the brochure gets, and the desired effect of the brochure and of course, the eight C’s. I also got to cultivate my ability to write to a specific audience. I used these guidelines and was able to work on my skills with AIDA and understand how to properly format a brochure in a way that would draw an audience’s attention to it while giving them insightful and helpful information. It also gave my teammates and me a chance to use our creative skills and create an imaginary company and an imaginary product and do our best to make it seem professional and work to find a balance between the two.
