The graduate assistant will help with delivery of trainings and other meetings, coordinate social media campaigns and outreach activities for a mental health grant awarded by SAMHSA. The graduate assistant will be supervised primarily by the project co-director and will support the overall program as needed. The primary, defined task will be social media management targeted to promote suicide prevention efforts, create awareness of available trainings, and disseminate anti-stigma messages and community outreach activities. This includes the responsibility of tracking the utilization / visit rate / responses to the social media platforms. Additional tasks and duties will include general support such as document organization, records management, and training session preparation.

The Office of Alumni Engagement is seeking a talented graduate assistant with a passion for event planning, marketing, and administrative support to assist with our ongoing initiatives. This position will work closely with the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement to develop, plan, and execute events that connect alumni with the institution and foster networking opportunities. Duties will also include assisting with day-to-day operations including managing event registrations, creating daily cash logs, and creation of event marketing materials.

• Work with the CGPS Marketing team to increase enrollment in graduate programs and professional studies initiatives.
• Help expand our social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, & Youtube) by creating and scheduling content on each platform.
• Gather content and create posts to spotlight graduate and professional studies students, staff, faculty, and alumni on social media.
• Help maintain presence of tangible marketing materials on-campus by assisting with printing orders made through CGPS Marketing team.
• Assist with graduate fairs and recruitment events.

The position requires the GA to work in-person in the Graduate College office on a regular schedule.

This graduate assistant will provide support to the Institute for Teaching through Technology and Innovative Practices (ITTIP) in CEHHS. Responsibilities will include providing support to students & faculty in our STEAM Lab, assistance with conducting research (literature review, data entry and analysis), and supporting marketing and programmatic needs for ITTIP events. The applicant should have strong oral and written communication skills, experience or an interest in working in the K-12 education field, and a strong work ethic.
