As I prepare for a career as a special education teacher, I have learned about different disabilities I may encounter in the field and the methodology to help me become an effective special educator in the classroom. As I continue my education career at Longwood, I have complete two of my special education field experience and attended the Interprofessional Education Conference with my SPED 411: Assistive Technology class. During these experiences, I gained a lot of knowledge that will assist me as I prepare for student teaching and later my teaching career.
