MATH 171: Statistical Decision Making

To fulfill goal 5 of Longwood’s curriculum I took MATH 171, otherwise known as Statistical Decision Making. In this class Professor Shoenthal guided us through the fundamentals of statistics. I was able to demonstrate my understanding of the concepts we were taught through online homework, quizzes, and individual and group reports. Below I have included one of my individual reports, which shows my ability to examine a sample with categorical variables. In this report I used a Chi-Square Goodness-of-Fit test which examines the proportions of more than two categories. I will be going on to take the second level statistics course in the fall of 2018. I know I will use what I have learned in this class to further my learning in the following course.
