Goal 1: Longwood Seminar (Honors)
When I first started LSEM I honestly looked at it as a waste of my time. I was happy we read The Other Wes Moore because I enjoyed the book. When finally listening in LSEM I began to take away a lot of valuable information from class. I loved the teacher and my peer mentor Binta. The aspect of having a Peer Mentor in the class was very helpful to me. I talked to Binta about a lot of my problems and used her as a reference for many of the organizations I applied for on campus. The only thing that I wish was included in LSEM was more information on our individual majors. Other than that, LSEM helped me make a smooth transition from High School to College.
