Dear Sierra,
Today is June 21st, 2016 and I am writing to you as you are in your senior year of college. When I return to school in Fall of 2016 I will be classified as a Junior due to the amount of credits I have obtained. So I am not sure if you will be reading this message in a year or 2 years. I hope when you are reading this, you are still on the Dean’s List and maybe have been on the President’s list at least once. At this point you should be preparing for practicum and Student Teaching. Although this seems super scary, I know you’re going to do great. Hopefully after practicum and Student Teaching, you know what level you want to teach. Currently, I am leaning towards High School Spanish.
I hope you have continued to stay active on campus and in the surrounding community. Don’t ever think you don’t have enough time to give back to the community who has given you so much. I hope by now you are preparing to move off campus and begin to live on your own. Although at this moment I am not sure if I am part of class of 2018 or 2019, by the time you read this everything will be worked out and you will be on your way to your future career. Remember stay strong, work hard and most importantly keep God first in all you do.
Love,
2016 Sierra
