English 400 has taught me that the use of rhetorical devices is very important to be a citizen leader. It improves your writing and speeches by targeting a specific audience and certain points that the audience will most likely relate to. Also to almost target their emotions to get them to feel a certain way in order to prove my point. Also in English 400 I learned to not make logical fallacies throughout my writings because it will hurt my credibility and the overall logic of my paper. All in all English 400 has taught me a lot about how to get my point across to people which helps me be a citizen leader.
