My name is Jacob Poteat, and I am a Computer Science Major at Longwood University. I am in the Cormier Honors College and the LIFESTEM program at Longwood. In my Sophomore year, I started working as a Student Support Technician for the Help Desk at Longwood University. I was also elected the president of Longwood’s chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery. I graduated from Halifax County High School in 2019 with my Associate’s Degree of Arts and Sciences in General Studies from Southside Virginia Community College.
